Pin-Lee is the one of the squad members of the planetary survey expedition
to which SecUnit is
assigned. Pin-Lee's actual job is the being legal expert in contract laws in
their side of galaxy.
Pin-Lee's legal chops are sporadically shown in the books, mostly during
negotiations.
Tattiawana Jones will play Arada.
Jones was an 2018 nominee for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in
a Drama Series
for her role in The Handmaid's Tale. She has a recurring role in
Murdoch Mysteries and Orphan Black: Echoes.
Arada is first introduced as the survey team's biological expert. She and
Overse are marital
partners appearing in the first novella of the Murderbot Diaries.
Tamara Podemski will play Bharadwaj. Podemski was recently seen in
the Prime Video's
sci-fi series Outer Range.
Bharadwaj is a scientist on the planetary survey team. Later in the series,
Bharadwaj also interviews the SecUnit for
the documentary about cyborg/part-human constructs in the Corporation Rim
part of the galaxy.
Akshay Khanna will play Ratthi.
Akshay is an alumnus of the storied Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His
recent films
include Red, White & Royal Blue and Polite Society.
Ratthi is a biologist in the planetary survey team. He is another recurring
character
in the series.
David Dastmalchian will play Gurathin. David has essayed significant
roles in multiple films,
more in superhero films such as The Dark Knight and the
AntMan series. He produced
and acted in Late Night with the Devil, which released to postive
reviews.
Gurathin is an augmented human on the survey team when he meets the SecUnit.
He has implanted augments which
provide an seamless interface for him to interact with compatible computer
devices and data streams.He is an reserved
person. During the series, it is shown that SecUnit and Gurathin share a
slight antagonistic relationship but often work together.
