GTA 6 Gets A 2025 Release Window

The next installment of The Grand Theft Auto franchise, the most awaited GTA VI is coming out in Autumn 2025. Take Two Interactive, Rockstar Games's parent company,shared the release window in their latest earnings report.

A long wait for GTA VI

Fans waiting to delve into the world of GTA VI will have wait for more a year and then some to get their hands on the next edition. This reveal comes nearly six months after both a leak and an official trailer was shared of the game. The game itself will arrive after more than a decade from the release of its predecessor, the wildly successful GTA V. Take Two revealed in the earning call that it had sold 200 million copies till date, making GTA V the second-best selling video game.

GTA VI Details

The GTA VI is set in Miami-inspired Vice City. It will also feature the first ever female protagonist in the franchise history, Lucia. It is reportedly going to be available in PS5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms upon release.
