Vision Quest is one of the confirmed Marvel Television series. The series centers on the “white” Vision, resurrected by a government agency, who later encountered his counterpart—reborn through more mystical means, albeit temporarily. That meeting resolved an intellectual argument, but it left behind far more complicated consequences. This version of Vision continues to deal with his identity and memories, both inherited and new, existing in a world that recognizes him even as he struggles to recognize himself.
What makes the premise promising is that the show does not appear to be built solely around the Ship of Theseus problem in superhero clothing. That question has already been asked—and answered, at least logically. Vision accepted that he is Vision. What remains is the harder part: living with the answer. He is not trying to become who he was. He is trying to decide whether that version of himself should still define him at all. The series seems less interested in reclaiming the past and more focused on what it means to move forward when memory survives without emotional certainty.
It is not just Vision who will solely hold the mantle of artificial intelligence in the series. Vision Quest appears to function as a convergence point for the MCU’s long-running A.I. threads. Other AI characters have been confirmed to appear, including J.A.R.V.I.S., Ultron, and F.R.I.D.A.Y. Each represents a distinct philosophy of intelligence, shaped by Tony Stark’s evolving relationship with technology and control.
E.D.I.T.H., the AI responsible for operating the Stark technology gifted to Spider-Man, is also expected to show up. Cameos from Vision and Wanda’s reality-bending children are also expected. William “Billy” Maximoff debuted in Agatha All Along, where his powers reshaped reality in ways reminiscent of his mother. In doing so, he brought his brother back into existence. That speedster sibling is expected to feature in the Vision Quest series, further tying Vision’s arc to the consequences of Wanda’s choices.

J.A.R.V.I.S. was subsumed into Vision during his creation, forming one half of Vision’s original consciousness alongside Ultron. He was once Tony Stark’s constant companion and later became one of the core components who ran the Stark company alongside Pepper Potts. But the A.I. is not expected to make an appearance. Instead the human inspiration behind J.A.R.V.I.S , Edwin Jarvis, the personal assistant/butler to Stark Senior will show up.
The villain who made the Avengers assemble to take him down , makes a comeback. Ultron was last seen hobbling away from the Sokovian battleground, trying to escape and survive. It is not sure whether the original A.I is making a comeback or some part of White Vision consciousness will manifest as Ultron. James Spader, makes a comeback to his admirably suited role of the probable antagonist , Ultron.
Post the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron,(in hindsight, Ultron only lasted weeks before getting put down by Avengers, so the more appropriate title would be Avengers: Month of Ultron), F.R.I.D.A.Y was the one Tony used for the interfacing for his suit. She continued to be the A.I who interfaced with the Iron Man Suit in the later movies. In Vision Quest, she is going to be played by Emily Hampshire.
The Wiccan. The prodigy who literally gave life to an old witch tale, the Witches’ Road. The reality spun by Wanda in WandaVision did not unravel fully without consequences. Billy , her son, inherited her complex powers and his consciousness latched onto a teenagers’ body at the time of final events of WandaVision. He survived and like his mother, his powers created a temporary reality, inspired by the legendary Witches’ Road in Agatha All Along.
Thomas Maximoff is the other part of the Maximoff Twins. Billy Maximoff, in Agatha All Along seemed to have gathered the consciousness of his brother and brought it into the actual reality. The rumors suggest that he may be played by Ruaridh Mollica in the series. His superhero alter in the comics is Speed.

As of now, Vision Quest is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2026, though Marvel has not yet announced an exact day or month. The series will be part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is expected to consist of eight episodes, following its production through 2025 and promotional reveals at major fan events like New York Comic Con 2025.
Most reporting indicates that Vision Quest is targeting a late-2026 release window, with some industry projections suggesting a fall 2026 debut as Marvel spaces its television slate around other key franchise releases that year
