Fans waiting for updates on the Marvel Asian superhero movie Shang Chi 2 will be happy to know that the movie is definitely on. Actor Simu Liu, on Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, revealed that Shang Chi 2 is definitely going into production."It's definitely happening.....I think I speak for myself and Destin, our returning director, when we say we're so beyond excited to jump back in."He further shared details about his antagonist role in Netflix's sci-fi thriller Atlas .

Simu Liu is expected to return as the titular character and there are rumors that Finn Jones, who plays Iron Fist in MCU, will join him. Other cast members are yet to be revealed.When will Shang Chi 2 be released?
It appears the filming for Shang Chi 2 has not yet started. Even there is no official title as of now. The filming may start soon, but the shared release calendar for Marvel Studios does not have Shang chi for 2025 or 2026. The fans will probably need to wait till 2027 to see the Shang Chi 2 on the big screen
Disney CEO Bob Iger, on a quarterly earnings call on Tuesday, said the Marvel output is being shrunk to 2 TV series and 3 movies in a year. The statement contrasts with the previously shared Marvel Studios release calendar with 4 movies each in 2025 and even 2026, according to Variety.
